Conversations & Desks
Blabble organizes your conversations into Desks, smart folders that help you focus on what matters. Select a desk in the sidebar to filter the conversation list.
Built-in desks
| Desk | Description |
|---|---|
| World | All conversations from every connected source. |
| Contacts | Conversations with people in your address book. |
| Favorites | Conversations you've starred as favorites. |
| Hot | Conversations you've marked as hot, useful for things you're actively tracking. |
| Deleted | Conversations and messages you've removed. Restore from here or empty the desk to recover disk space. |
Super conversations
A Super conversation is automatically created when Blabble detects that you have conversations with exactly the same members across multiple platforms, for example, both iMessage and WhatsApp. Marked with an indigo S badge. The matching rule is strict: each child conversation must have exactly the same set of members.
Custom conversations
A Custom conversation is one you create yourself by merging two or more conversations via drag and drop. Marked with a teal C badge. To ungroup, right-click the conversation and choose Ungroup.
- Enable Show Grouped Conversations (⌘L).
- Drag one conversation onto another in the list.
- Continue dragging more conversations onto it to add them.

Bubble tint
By default, message bubbles are tinted by platform: blue for iMessage, green for WhatsApp. Toggle Unified Bubble Tint (⌘U) to use a single color for all platforms.
Deleting conversations
Deleted conversations move to the Deleted desk where you can restore them. Permanently remove them by opening the Deleted desk and clicking Empty Now. Deleting in Blabble only removes content from Blabble's own copy. Your original Messages, WhatsApp, or Mail databases are never touched.
